Meet our Speakers:

Milissa Goforth, B.S, M.S
Milissa Goroth is a Program Manager of Oklahoma ABLE  Tech and has been with the sponsored program housed at Oklahoma State University, Department of Wellness since 1996.  In her role she ensures the timely and effective completion of the State Level program goals for Oklahoma Assistive Technology Act program.  Additionally, Milissa advocates and promotes public policy that will enable individuals with all types of disabilities of all ages to access assistive technology.  She also provides information, referral, and advocacy to persons with disabilities, their family members, and professionals to enhance their access to disability related services.  Milissa graduated from Oklahoma State Universtiy with a B.S. in Special Education and her M.S. in Health Care Administration.

Shelby Sanders, B.A
Shelby Sanders is the Assistive Technology Specialist for Oklahoma ABLE Tech.  She assists individuals with the short term device loan process as well as schedules demonstrations.  Shelby attended the University of Central Oklahoma from 1994 to 1996 on a tennis scholarship.  She transferred to Oklahoma State University and graduated with a B.A. in Sociology.  She maintains her Assistive Technology certification and teaching certification in history.  She has 2 daughters, Brooklyn and Blair.

Katie Woodward, B.S
Katie Woodward is the Program Manager for the Oklahoma Durable Medical Equipment Reuse Program which opened its doors in April 2012.  Oklahoma ABLE Tech and the Oklahoma Health Care Authority have partnered to create the Oklahoma Durable Medical Equipment Reuse Program.  The program is designed to reuse valuable DME that is no longer needed and assign it to someone in need at no cost.  Ms. Woodward has been in the field of grant management since 2004, and has worked with both federal and state grants dealing with the disabled, impoverished, elderly, and children.  Ms.  Woodward is a native Oklahoman, growing up in Edmond and earning her B.S. in Organizational Leadership from Southern Nazarene University.  She moved to Guthrie in 1994.  She has a 24 year old son who live in Yukon and a 12 year old daughter who lives at home with her.

Karie Graybill, BSW, MMA

Karie Graybill, BSW, MMA is a Social Worker at CommunityCare Healthcare Plans of Oklahoma. She received her Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Management degree from Oral Roberts University.  Before accepting her position at CommunityCare, Karie served the senior population for five years to assess, develop care plans, and connect seniors with community services to assist them to remain in their home and improve their quality of life.  In July of 2013, Karie accepted a position at CommunityCare to develop programs which assist members and CPCI patients through performing assessments and action plans to ensure effective, efficient, appropriate care in order to optimize the health status and assure a smooth transition between levels of care for members and CPCi patients.
