Todd Petty, Physical Therapist, CSMT

            Robert Todd Petty has been with Excel Therapy Specialists since October 2008 working at the Excel Central Tulsa location. He received his Bachelors in Physical Therapy from the University of Oklahoma in 1990. Todd has had extensive experience working in Orthopedics, and Manual Therapy for over 28 years, and has a special interest in sports-related and spine rehabilitation. He completed his certification in spinal manual therapy thorough International Spine & Pain Institute in February 2012. Since receiving his certification in spinal manual therapy he has continued to pursue further specialization in the area of pain education/management and treatment.   

Kelley Scott, RN BSN CHN


 Kelley Scott, RN, BSN, CHPN, has been caring for dying people throughout the 31 years of her nursing career. Her clinical experience includes inpatient oncology, bone marrow transplant, chronic ventilator patients, home hospice case management, and serving as a palliative nurse consultant with an inpatient palliative care service. Currently, Ms. Scott is the Executive Director of Clarehouse, a loving home for terminally ill people. Clarehouse was the first of its kind in Oklahoma; a social model hospice providing a loving home and care for dying people in need. She founded this project and has overseen all aspects of its start-up and

development. Nationally, she serves as the President of the Omega Home Network and provides consulting and mentoring to aspiring social model hospices. She has created Outcome Pathways for end-of-life care and education. Ms. Scott is a frequent speaker in end-of-life education as well as non-profit start-up and development.

Chris Murphy, CPA HealthCare Consultant BKD

            Chris, a member of BKD National Health Care Group, has more than 24 years of experience serving health care providers, including nursing facilities and other senior services providers, hospitals, cognitive-impairment-related organizations, physicians, hospices and home care agencies. While he currently focuses primarily on advanced payment models, operational and Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement consulting services, Chris has experience with financial statement audits, account outsourcing services, Medicare and Medicaid compliance services and Medicaid rate setting.

Chris is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, Oklahoma Society of CPAs and Healthcare Financial Management Association. He serves on the Finance and Executive Committees for Family & Children’s Services, a Tulsa-based behavioral health organization. He has presented seminars on Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement topics, continuum of care issues, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act and other related areas for LeadingAge Oklahoma, Oklahoma Association of Health Care Providers, Arkansas Health Care Association and other state and national health care professional associations. Kimberly D. Green is the Chief Operating Officer for Diakonos Group, LLC.  Diakonos Group, LLC operates and manages skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities, independent and assisted living facilities, senior mental health facilities, group homes for individuals with intellectual disabilities (IID) and operates the consulting division Senior Health Strategies. Kimberly has an extensive background in the industry with over 30 years of varied experience. Kimberly is a medical speech language pathologist by background and has a Bachelor's of Science and a Master's of Education in medical speech language pathology both from Northeastern State University in Oklahoma. She has traveled the country and worked for some of the nation's oldest and largest companies and has also owned and operated her own consulting company. She has diverse experience from almost every aspect of the industry from provider to contractor and nurse assistant to COO. She was able to participate in the pilot project for PPS and grew that knowledge over the years to become a recognized Medicare and reimbursement specialist that has provided consulting coast to coast. Kimberly is also a nationally recognized speaker on various topics such as Medicare, Rehabilitation, geriatrics, restorative nursing, and dementia management. She has written a restorative training program and manual currently implemented by three different state associations. She traveled to Haiti on medical missions after the earthquake, and trained physicians, nurses and other health care workers on restorative nursing care for the elderly in their country. 

Kimberly was a member of the Clinical Quality Committee with the American Healthcare Association (AHCA) in 2014-2015 and graduated from the Future Leaders class 2014-2015 with the American Healthcare Association. She is currently on the Quality Improvement Committee (2015- present) with AHCA. She has also presented for AHCA at their 2017 national convention in Las Vegas. Kimberly serves on the Boards with Oklahoma Health Care Association and the Mental Health Association of Oklahoma. She also serves on the Housing Committee, Aging Taskforce and the Board Development Committee for the Mental Health Association of Oklahoma. She is very active, nationally and at the state level, advocating and speaking to legislators on the needs and funding for geriatrics and the mentally ill.  Kimberly was the recipient of the Women of Distinction award for Tulsa in 2016. She lives in Jenks, Oklahoma with her husband, Michael Yates, and her five daughters, Lily, Isabella, Emma, Sofia and Kinsley.

Nancy Skinner, RN-BC, CCM, ACM-RN


Nancy Skinner, RN, CCM, serves as principal consultant for Riverside HealthCare Consulting.  In her role at Riverside HealthCare Consulting, she develops programs for payers and providers, which reflect the state of the science of case management and other related medical management strategies.  She has a background in acute care, home health and subacute nursing.  In 1984, she accepted her first case management position and has served as a case manager, case management supervisor and national case management trainer.  Ms. Skinner has served as president of the Case Management Society of America, and secretary of the Case Management Society International.  She was recognized as the 1998 Illinois Case Manager of the Year and the 2002 CMSA National Case Manager of the Year.  She has presented at numerous national and international conferences and has published articles in both The Journal of Care Management and Inside Case Management.  She is the creator and author of seven Case Management Resource Paths.  These paths address disease-specific topics including Crohn's disease, rheumatoid arthritis, hemophilia, venous thromboembolic disease, airways clearance, hepatitis C, and gastroesophageal reflux disorder.  Ms. Skinner has also served on several case management advisory boards including the Commission/URAC Case Management Advisory Committee, CCMA Core Task Force, CDC Case Management External Workgroup, and the National Managed Healthcare Conference.  She serves as an adjunct faculty member for the University of Southern Indiana Case Management Program, Evansville, Indiana and assisted in the development of the University of St. Francis Case Management Certificate Program in Joliet, Illinois.

Dr Thambuswamy is fellowship trained in Neurosurgical Oncology from the highly acclaimed Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami, where he completed his neurosurgery training as Chief Resident.  Prior to attending the University of Miami Dr. Thambuswamy completed his doctorate degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.  Beginning with his undergraduate education at Baylor University in 1997, Dr. Thambuswamy was a very active member of student life, holding elected positions in several student organizations and student government. He also graduated with his MBA from Baylor University in 2002 with an emphasis in finance and accounting. He returned to medicine after receiving a performance award for his work with the Gatorade/Pepsi campaign during his time with a successful marketing firm in Dallas, TX. Throughout his medical school career he has been a devoted member of the community, having provided continuity of healthcare to the underserved "working poor" population of Tulsa, OK, at Bedlam Longitudinal Clinic; volunteering evenings at Bedlam Clinic, a student-run and student-directed free clinic for the uninsured and underserved, and volunteering also at Oklahoma elementary schools to promote an interest in the sciences and teaching about career opportunities in scientific fields.  


Dr Rolf B. Gainer, PHD ABDA—CEO Brookhaven Hospital


            Dr. Rolf Gainer is the founder of the Neurologic Rehabilitation Institute at Brookhaven Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma as well as the Neurological Rehabilitation Institute of Ontario, in Toronto, Canada. Dr. Gainer is a psychologist with more than twenty-five years of experience in the treatment and rehabilitation of individuals with brain injuries and a dual diagnosis. Dr. Gainer has designed and operated innovative rehabilitation programs in the United States and Canada for individuals who have been regarded as difficult to serve. He is currently involved in conducting two outcome studies related to the long-term issues faced by individuals with brain injuries and a dual diagnosis. He has presented papers throughout the United States and Canada in many professional conferences and educational forums.

Cathy Costello, Mental Health in workforce (NAMI)


Born and raised in Overland Park, Kansas, Cathy attended the University of Kansas, obtaining her Bachelor of Arts degree in Classical Music and Opera and today remains an active vocal soloist.

Cathy and Mark were married for nearly 34 years, Cathy and Mark have raised their 5 children in Edmond, Oklahoma.

​ ​ ​The greatest challenge that faced the Costello’s was the devastating mental illness that befell their second oldest child. For the past 10 years, their son has suffered with diagnosed schizophrenia with psychosis.

 On August 23rd, 2015, after a quiet summer dinner at a local restaurant, during a paranoid, delusional psychotic break, their son Christian inexplicably stabbed his father to death. Mark died in Cathy’s arms.

Since her husband’s death, Cathy has become a frequent public speaker traveling the state and the country to share her very personal and heartbreaking story, appearing on national and local radio and television including NPR and Sirius XM radio in New York City.

After testifying twice before a senate hearing committee, she was instrumental in the unanimous passing of the Labor Commissioner Mark Costello Act, which provides Assisted Outpatient Treatment to Oklahomans in an on-going mental health crisis. She traveled to Washington D.C. to advocate for mental health reform, encouraging federal legislators to vote for the “Helping Families in Mental Health Crisis Act,” which passed in the House and Senate in 2016.

Besides her national profile, Cathy has addressed thousands of Oklahomans at universities, hospitals, nursing schools, police departments, educators, counselors, doctors and multiple civic groups. Cathy has found a deep common concern among Oklahoma families and businesses – the struggle those who suffer with mental illness and substance abuse encounter daily to stay employed.

Cathy is an advisory board member for the Mental Health Association of Oklahoma; member of NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness); State Planning and Advisory Council Member to the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse; National Council for Behavioral Health, Oklahoma Behavioral Health Association board member and a committee member for National Catholic Charities Partnership on Disabilities. Cathy has received the Dr. Krishna “Lifting the Stigma” award as well as the “A.C.C.E.S.S. Award” presented by the Oklahoma Council for Exceptional Children and OK-AHEAD.
